Draft 2 is now ready to submit.

Writing progress as of 23rd February 2019.

My trusted reader has come back today and had a few (very minor) comments - so I’ve made those updates fairly quickly.

I’m feeling confident about this book as a result, and am going to get started on submitting it shortly. I’ve been using some helpful resources online about submitting to agents - in particular some helpful information from Reedsy.

They do some free email training (you get an email each morning for about 10 days) which walks you through the various steps you need to take to achieve something. Each task is nice and simple, one thing to do per day which you can definitely fit in alongside anything else you need to do. There’s a lot of courses covering everything from self-publishing to children’s books - definitely worth a look.

I used their ‘ How to write a Query Letter that Agents can’t resist! ’ course to help me - and now I’m working on my synopsis. Once that’s done, I’ll be sending it off to a few agents I think will be a good match.
